ZØ is the story of an LGBTQ+ activist and artist who dedicated his life to the right to be ourselves. But after a hate crime in Greece, in the centre of Athens, in front of hundreds of people during midday his life has stopped unexpectedly. 


The director, unveils the story of Zaharias Kostopoulos / Zak / Zackie Oh! in a biographical cinematic VR documentary, inviting audiences to experience into a first person narrative, a journey through his extraordinary life, artistic expression, tragic killing, the controversial discussion after that and the ongoing struggle for justice in the Greek courts.

The project has the research / academical support of the “XR Cinema Lab” of the AuTH
